Like most website operators, AreteLabs collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. AreteLabs's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how AreteLabs's visitors use its website. From time to time, AreteLabs may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
AreteLabs also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. AreteLabs does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Certain visitors to AreteLabs's website choose to interact with AreteLabs in ways that require AreteLabs to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that AreteLabs gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, some visitors may and some visitors must sign up for an account at AreteLabs by providing a name and email address. In all such cases, AreteLabs collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with AreteLabs. AreteLabs does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally- identifying information, and are in all cases free to create accounts with inauthentic name/email information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

The website also does not allow any type of direct communication to or between the student participants.
Children's safety and full enjoyment of AreteLabs, as well as the safety and well being for all children and their families, is of the utmost importance to all of us at AreteLabs. AreteLabs does not accumulate personal information about any child or family for distribution, sharing, or selling except as described in this privacy policy.
